New Student Registration

If you are interested in taking lessons, please submit a Lesson Inquiry Form. We will then contact you to arrange a lesson time with your teacher. If you decide to enroll after your first lesson and once your lesson schedule has been confirmed, please complete the New Student Registration Form.

 

*Please note that our teachers reserve the right whether to accept potential students based on availability, the student's aptitude and willingness to learn, or any other reason deemed appropriate.

School Calendar

Our official school year runs from August 2024 - May 2025 and consists of a total of 36 private lessons. View our current 2024-2025 Calendar to find important dates including holidays, recitals, monthly tuition due dates, and summer camps.

You may register for additional summer lessons to be taken from June - July. Please refer to our Lessons & Tuition page to view individual summer lesson rates.

School Policies

Registration & Lesson Schedule:

1. All registered lessons for the current school year (Aug - May) must be completed within the school year. Any make-up lessons must be completed by the end of July during the respective year. No refunds will be given for any lessons that are not completed, and lessons are non-transferable.

2. Please refer to our music school calendar for important dates including holidays, recitals, and monthly tuition due dates.

3. All registered summer lessons must be completed before the new school year begins in August.

Rescheduling & Make-up Lessons:

1. Students are allowed to reschedule/make-up their private lesson up to three times per school calendar year (Aug - May).

2. If you need to reschedule your lesson, please notify your teacher as soon as possible. Make-up lessons are only provided when at least 24-hour advance notice is given to your teacher via email or text message.

3. Make-up lessons must be completed within one month of the missed lesson date; otherwise it may be forfeited. It is the responsibility of the student to contact the teacher to arrange the make-up lesson date and time.

4. If the teacher is absent, a make-up lesson will be scheduled at a mutually convenient date and time.

*Out of respect for our teachers' time, our cancellation and make-up lesson policy will be strictly enforced. Thank you for your understanding.

Withdrawing from Lessons:

1. In you wish to withdraw from lessons, please submit a Lesson Withdrawal Form. Verbal notices will not be accepted. Please submit the form on or before the 10th day of the current month to discontinue lessons after the end of the current month. For students under age 18, the withdrawal form must be completed by a parent or guardian.

2. All monthly tuition payments are non-refundable. Once a withdrawal form has been submitted, all remaining lessons must be completed by the end of the last paid month.

3. If you decide to withdraw from lessons and register again at a later date, the $50 registration fee will be applied.

Safety:

1. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children while on the New Heart Christian School of Music premises.

2. The New Heart Christian School of Music, together with New Heart Music Ministries, shall not be held liable for any accident, injury, loss, theft, or damage which might be sustained on our premises in conjunction with any school-related lessons, activities, or functions.
